Phoenix Woman Dies in Missouri Motorcycle Crash, Police Searching for Vehicle Involved in Fatal Accident

MILLER COUNTY, Missouri – Police are looking into a crash that killed a woman from Phoenix, Arizona, in Miller County early Sunday morning. This information comes from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

The crash happened on Missouri Route 242 near Route MM at about 12:20 a.m. The woman and a man were riding east on a 2009 Harley Davidson Dyna Superglide motorcycle.

According to the MSHP report, the motorcycle veered off the left side of the road, hitting a barrier in the middle of the highway.

This caused the motorcycle to flip, and 35-year-old Larose Spencer, the woman, was thrown off the bike. After the crash, the motorcycle skidded back onto the road, crossing over the middle and hitting a curb.

The MSHP Troop F posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Spencer was hit by another vehicle after being thrown off the motorcycle.

That vehicle didn’t stop and drove away from the scene. Sadly, Spencer died on the spot. The man who was driving the motorcycle was taken to Lake Regional Hospital with moderate injuries.
