After being labeled as questionable on Saturday due to an illness, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Johnny Wilson will play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cornerback Cooper DeJean will be asked to handle punt returns after the team announced on Friday that wide out and punt returner Britt Covey will miss his second consecutive game of the season due to a neck ailment. After missing seven games earlier this season due to a fractured scapula sustained against the Saints in Week 3, Covey is missing his ninth game total.

Since entering the starting lineup in Week 6, DeJean has not only had an excellent rookie season as the slot cornerback but has also performed well as the punt returner when Covey is not available. 15 punts for 167 yards have been returned by Iowa’s second-round choice. He is sixth in the NFL with an average of 11.1 yards.

The Eagles have cornerback Eli Ricks, offensive lineman Nick Gates, Trevor Keegan, and Darian Kinnard as healthy inactives for Week 15 in addition to Covey. The third quarterback is Tanner McKee.

George Pickens, the team’s best receiver, will miss his second consecutive game due to a hamstring ailment, making Pittsburgh minus three injured players.
