The National Football League and Fanatics have partnered with fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk and Emma Grede, co-founder of Skims, to introduce a new clothing line called Off Season.
On Tuesday, January 7, the launch was formally announced.
The San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, and Buffalo Bills are the five NFL teams represented among the unisex coats, vests, and puffer jackets in this collection.
Juszcyk is the spouse of Kyle Juszczyk, a football player for the San Francisco 49ers who has created unique pieces for Simone Biles and Taylor Swift, among other celebrities.
According to Juszczyk’s remark, “Off Season was born out of my passion for high design and the desire to elevate NFL fan apparel into something truly unique.” I’ve been redefining team pride for years, but after witnessing the amazing reaction from other players’ spouses, celebrities, and regular supporters, I realized this might be much more.
She is gaining popularity on the internet for her repurposed NFL jerseys and old T-shirts, which she turns into corset tops and splicing outerwear.
Not familiar with Grede? She is most recognized for having cofounded two Kardashian companies: Khlo Kardashian’s denim-focused business Good American and Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line Skims. In addition, she chairs the board of the fashion designer Aurora James Fifteen Percent Pledge, which aims to link Black business owners and retailers.
Grede’s husband is Jens Grede, a co-founder of Frame Denim who founded Skims in 2019 with Kim Kardashian and his wife.
According to a press release, the Off Season collection was developed to reinvent fan gear by introducing a novel concept to the sports-inspired fashion industry and fusing the excitement of game day with unmatched craftsmanship and style.
In an aWWD piece, Emma Grede stated, “With Off Season, we’re giving fans a unique opportunity to seamlessly blend fashion and fandom.”Off Season offers a collection for just that. We realize that fans want to wear and support their teams outside of game days, and Off Season represents a new vision for sports-inspired design.
For Off Season’s first drop, vests start at $295, jackets at $375, and long coats at $495. Sizes range from XS to XXXL. You can purchase the premiere collection right now on team websites, nflshop.com, offseasonbrand.com, and fanatics.com.
The line is currently attached to five NFL teams, but that number will surely rise.
On the Fanatics website, you can browse the available gear for the five clubs as well as clothing for athletes like Josh Allen, Christian McCaffrey, Patrick Mahomes, and Saquon Barkley.
For orders above $24, Fanatics is providing free shipping within the United States. More information is available at this link.
