In central Pennsylvania, Wawa is holding another grand opening.

Today at 8 a.m., the newest store will open at 2941 Carlisle Road in Dover, York County. At 8:30 a.m., there will be a ribbon cutting.

Wawa T-shirts will be given away for free to the first 100 people in line. Coffee of any size will be given away for free till December 15.

A parade honoring Wawa Through the Ages, a check presentation to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, and a competition among area first responders to create hoagies for Heroes are all part of the festivities.

Wawa intends to open over 40 sites in the area over the course of the next five to seven years, and these openings are a part of that expansion.In Lower Swatara Township, close to Middletown, at 1601 W. Harrisburg Pike, the first business opened its doors in September.

Wawa is set to open a location at 100 Metropolitan Way in East Pennsboro Township (Enola) on December 12. Although it has not yet disclosed an opening date, Wawa stated that a second location at 4535 W. Market St. in York is anticipated to open by the end of the year.

By the end of 2025, the chain anticipates opening a dozen locations in the counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lycoming, Northumberland, Union, and York.
