The tight end for the Pittsburgh SteelersMyCole Pruittis isn’t playing well enough to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Pruitt did not practice on Wednesday after being sidelined on Tuesday due to a knee injury. Pruitt has been hindered by that injury all year.

He missed four games when he first had the problem against the Denver Broncos. He would miss another game due to the injury after the bye week, and it now looks like Pruitt may miss another game while he fights the injury.

The Steelers might use practice squad member Matt Sokol as their fourth tight end if Pruitt is unable to participate. However, the Steelers might make room for another gameday inactive player, like an additional defensive lineman, if Pruitt is out and they are content with only three tight ends.

The Steelers prefer to use Pruitt in their 12 and 13 personnel packages on offense, so his blocking ability would be missed if he were to miss any games.
