“At 8:44 a.m., radar indicated an intense lake effect snow band along a line extending from 14 miles northwest of Geneva-On-The-Lake to 6 miles west of Findley Lake, moving east at 20 mph,” according to the meteorological service.

If you have to go through or into this lake effect snow belt, proceed with additional caution. Accidents are likely to occur due to slick roads and abrupt changes in visibility.
