At 1:04 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory that would be in effect until 6 p.m. for the counties of Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Delaware, and Philadelphia, as well as Western Chester, Eastern Chester, Western Montgomery, Eastern Montgomery, Upper Bucks, and Lower Bucks.
According to the meteorological service, “West winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.”
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, “a few power outages may result and tree limbs could be blown down.” Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
