BALTIMORE – During the fourth quarter against the Ravens, the Eagles lost two important players.

Tight end Dallas Goedert departed the Eagles due to a knee injury, and wide receiver/punt returner Britain Covey left due to a neck ailment. The return of both players has been deemed dubious.

After taking a hard hit on a punt return, Covey sustained the neck injury. He remained on the sidelines after being assessed by the Eagles’ medical personnel.

Goedert hobbled off the field on his own strength during the Eagles’ subsequent offensive possession.

Goedert has been replaced by reserve tight ends Grant Calcaterra and C.J. Uzomah, while rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean will take Covey’s place on punt returns.

This season, Covey and Goedert have both suffered from injuries. Goedert missed three games (Weeks 7-9) due to a hamstring injury before making a comeback in Week 10, and Covey missed seven games (Weeks 4–10) due to a shoulder ailment.

In the first three quarters, Goedert caught three receptions for 35 yards.
