The city of Philadelphia Ivan Fedotov made 22 saves, Travis Konecny scored two goals, and the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the New York Rangers 3-1 on Friday.

During a breakaway in the first period, Konecny put Philadelphia ahead by two goals by sliding a puck through the legs of Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin. In the last minute, he added an empty netter.

Philadelphia, who have scored at least one point in four consecutive games, also had a goal from Bobby Brink.

New York, which has now lost five in a row, scored through Vincent Trocheck.

Even though the Rangers spent the majority of the game in their defensive zone, Shesterkin made 32 saves to keep the team in the contest.
