At approximately ten in the morning on Sunday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) declared that all lanes on northbound Interstate 83 between Exit 41 (Lemoyne) in Cumberland County and Exit 43 (2nd Street/Capitol) in the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, were free of traffic.
This morning, lane and ramp limitations were put in place to allow a contractor to take down an electronic message board that had been struck and toppled.
All traffic restrictions have been removed and this work is finished.
