The third of five subdivisions of a resort-style senior living community is now under construction. Amblebrook at Gettysburg’s new 259-home community, Highland, will be situated off Shrivers Corner Road. The second quarter of 2025 is when it is anticipated to be finished. The community is for those who are 55 years of age or older.

Next summer, Turning Point Restaurant will open at 3125 Market St., where Friendly’s used to be.

Events at Bling Box
At 415 St. John’s Church Road, the business first opened. The store sells hats, jewelry, scarves, wallets, costumes, and other items. Additionally, Bling Box Events will rent out space for meetings, birthday celebrations, and bridal showers. Groups of up to 50 persons can stay there.
Marriott’s Residence Inn
The hotel, which has 129 rooms, opens at 2040 Technology Parkway.

The fitness center opened at the Rossmoyne Business Center, 4928 Louise Drive, Suite 103. Chase Fitness provides both small group and one-on-one private training. Additionally, Chase Fitness will provide dietary guidance. Ages 40 and over are eligible to use the gym.

Years of Tenderness
The new location of Tender Years will be located at 1151 Harrisburg Pike. By the end of the year, the facility should be operational, offering 150 children care and early education programs.

At 6 State Road, Suite 112, the decks and patios contractor opened a new office and showroom.

Taco Bell
At 151 Gettysburg Pike, Taco Bell first opened.

Derry Township
Warehouse for Black+Decker Tools
A variety of tools, household appliances, and do-it-yourself items are available at the store, which opened in Tanger Outlets Hershey. Black+Decker is a brand owned by Stanley Black & Decker. Other Stanley Black & Decker brands, such as Craftsman and Stanley, will also be available at the store.
Construct-A-Bear
The store will open in Derry Township at Tanger Outlets Hershey. Customers design their own teddy creatures at Build-A-Bear. Early in 2025 is when the retailer is expected to open.
The Hershey Hotel and Suites
The hotel, which is part of the West End development, has started construction. By spring 2026, the hotel will be open, according to the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company. There will be 130 rooms and seven suites at the Hershey Inn & Suites, along with an indoor pool.

Hoageez moved from Walton Avenue in Hummelstown to the Hershey Square Shopping Center.
Hershey’s U-Haul Moving & Storage
At 1000 Old W. Chocolate Ave., U-Haul erected a four-story facility that houses 1,000 climate-controlled storage apartments. The building was constructed on land that had previously been occupied by a small business that operated as a U-Haul dealer site after the company purchased the property in early 2022.

The hotel opened at 457 Port View Drive. The three-story pet-friendly hotel has 70 suites.
West Hanover Township
Goddard Holding
Goddard Holding LLC through the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation, was approved for a 15-year, $2.25 million loan at a 3.75 percent reset interest rate to purchase land and construct a 58,080 square-foot, multi-tenant light industrial facility located at the intersection of Allentown Boulevard and South Oak Grove Road. The facility will house a building materials wholesale liquidator and a door manufacturing company, both owned by the developer. The total project cost is $5.94 million.

Shabby Chic Farmhouse Boutique opened at 29 S. Main St. The boutique sells home d cor items, women s clothing, jewelry, and children s clothing among other items. There s also a space for artisans to sell their products. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held with the Franklin County Visitors Bureau.

Blissfully Brewed Cafe
The mobile trailer opened at 10,000 Molly Pitcher Highway and offers a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and baked goods.

High Real Estate Group
High Real Estate Group broke ground on 600 new apartments at Greenfield Lancaster at 850 Greenfield Road.

Flexopack
The package manufacturer is building a new 107,000-square-foot rail-served facility at 3010 Hanford Drive. It is the first phase of a three-phase project. The company s primary market is the food industry, with a focus on meat, poultry, cheese, and fish. Flexopack is the primary packaging supplier for poultry company, Bell & Evans.

The Book Bar has opened at 50 N. Railroad St. The new bookstore sells new and gently-used books and serves coffee, tea, baked goods and mocktails.

Aurum Renewables
Archaea Energy, a subsidiary of BP, and UGI Energy Services, a subsidiary of the UGI Corporation have opened the renewable natural gas plant. The companies formed the Aurum Renewables joint venture to develop and operate the natural gas plant, which is adjacent to the Commonwealth Environmental Systems landfill. The plant is located at 99 Commonwealth Road.

Shipfusion opened a new 350,000-square-foot facility at 560 Busser Road. The warehouse is an e-commerce fulfillment and third-party logistics facility that is fully operated by Shipfusion.

The restaurant will open next year in the former Bob Evans location at 135 Sheraton Drive with a menu that blends Mexican and El Salvadorian foods.

Fox Apartments has opened at 204 N George St. at the former Fox Bakery building. The building has 43 apartments and 2,000 square feet of retail space fronting on North George Street. The property includes secure electronic access, an elevator lobby, a mail center, a fitness room and parking.
Next Level Barbershop
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held with Downtown Inc. at 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at 131 N. Duke St., Suite 2. The grand opening celebration will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
