The public can buy tickets to see a new band, which includes Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, record their first music video at Rock Lititz.

Hamilton, Babys drummer Tony Brock, Sheryl Crow’s band guitarist Peter Stroud, guitarist Trace Foster, who has worked as a guitar tech for Joe Perry, Angus Young, and Ronnie Wood, and singer/actor Chasen Hampton, who has been a Mouseketeer on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, are all members of the new rock group Close Enemies.

The band’s debut performance was in Nashville in October, and on December 10, they will film their first music video at Rock Lititz as part of the Mediatwist Group’s event, An Evening with the Producers Close Enemies. According to an email from Chris Kurtz, creator and CEO of Mediatwist, Hamilton and Foster hired the advertising firm to plan the event.

600 tickets to the concert at Mickey’s Black Box are being sold by the Mediatwist Group, with the revenues going to Music for Everyone, a nonprofit organization in Lancaster. General admission tickets cost $200, while mezzanine and balcony seats cost $300. Tickets are currently on sale on Ticketmaster.

Mediatwist Group has previously organized an event to support the nonprofit. Through previous events, such as a concert and music video recording with Sammy Hagar in March 2022, the company has raised about $200K for Music for Everyone.

In an email, Chris Kurtz stated, “We are sure we can do it again, but it will be much harder because it’s around the holidays and most families are strapped for extra giving money.” We know the communities of Lancaster and Lititz will rise to the occasion, and we are ready for the task.

Following the passing of a common acquaintance, Foster, guitarist for Close Enemies, claimed to have been in touch with Chris Kurtz and Aimee Kurtz, cofounder of Mediatwist.

We quickly came to the conclusion that (our common buddy) Brandon would want us to collaborate after a few sobs and embraces, Foster said in a statement. I was unable to respond quickly enough when Chris and Aimee inquired about (An) Evening with the Producers.

Chris Kurtz is also eager to see what Close Enemies does.

According to Chris Kurtz, they haven’t yet finished the quantity of writing that is inside of them. Each of them has a claim to make. This lineup/supergroup will provide them with the chance and platform to release the remainder of their music, as they have been important contributors to all of their previous or ongoing projects.

The address of Mickey’s Black Box is 101 Rock Lititz Blvd., Lititz. To learn more about the event on December 10, click here.
