Pittsburgh –George Pickens, the outstanding wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is reportedly close to playing versus the Baltimore Ravens. On Tuesday, Pickens was observed performing light work at practice, which included cutting and sprinting. Despite having a strained hamstring, Pickens is making an effort to play.

The week before the game against the Cleveland Browns, Pickens sustained the injury. He did not practice last week and missed the previous two weeks. Pickens is at least moving now, though, and it looks like he has a shot to play with four days left until the game.
Pickens has a chance to play because head coach Mike Tomlin did not rule him out at his press conference yesterday. All of the other injured players, including Donte Jackson, Justin Fields, Larry Ogunjobi, DeShon Elliott, and T.J. Watt, might also participate, but they will need to begin with limited participation and gradually increase it.
Pickens’ return would be a huge boost to a wide receiver room that desperately needs it, as the Steelers have struggled offensively without him in the lineup.
