The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory on Tuesday at 1:18 p.m. that would be in effect for Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the counties of Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Delaware, and Philadelphia, as well as Western Chester, Eastern Chester, Western Montgomery, and Eastern Montgomery.
According to the meteorological service, “West winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.”
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, “a few power outages may result and tree limbs could be blown down.” Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
