The sides traded blows from all over the court in the second quarter after the lead held in the first. But in a Mid-Penn Capital Division matchup, Trinity turned on the turbo in the second half and won easily, 58-41.

According to Trinity coach Kristi Britten, the halftime address wasn’t particularly impressive. They require it occasionally.

Trinity’s record now stands at 9-3 after the second-half modifications, ahead of their Saturday trip to Penn State-Altoona to play Bishop Guilfoyle.

Big Spring is off from 8 to 5 and won’t be visiting Susquehanna Township until Monday.
