BALTIMORE –Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steleers, hopes that this is not his last season with the team, but he is aware that it could be. Wilson, 36, signed a veteran minimum contract, and although he created excitement early on, he lost his spark by the conclusion of the season.

What does that mean for Wilson and the Steelers, then? Wilson had a great time in Pittsburgh and stated after the game that he would love to come again. He thinks he still has a lot of football left, though, and would play somewhere else if he doesn’t return.

“I consider it a true blessing in my life. “For me personally, it’s been one of the best years to be a Pittsburgh Steeler,” Wilson said. Of course, I hope to be present, along with everything else. Wherever it may be, I have faith in God. It’s a very special place, you know that. I am aware that God has a purpose for bringing me here. I was very happy to have him here. Just hanging out with the guys that were there, you know. I adore the meaning of black and gold.

Overall, he will have a strong stat line by the end. He did not turn the ball over in this game, which is more significant, but he kept missing open reads and taking poor plays. Even if Wilson wants to come back, the Steelers would probably take a different route because Wilson is probably a major deal and will only get older. Mike Tomlin, the head coach, expressed gratitude for Wilson’s efforts but stated that he had not yet considered the quarterback situation as a whole.
