There are other retailers closing their stores besides Macy’s.Additionally, Kohl’s has declared that it will close 27 underperforming locations.

By April, the stores will be closing. Additionally, in May, Kohl’s plans to close its fulfillment site in San Bernardino, California.

Kohl’s will have more than 1,150 shops and 14 fulfillment sites following the closures.

According to Kohl’s, all staff members at the retail locations and fulfillment center were notified of the closures and given the option to apply for other available positions at Kohl’s or receive a severance payout.

In a press statement, Kohl’s CEO Tom Kingsbury stated, “We always take these decisions very seriously.” It is crucial that we take challenging but essential steps to support the well-being and future of our company for our clients and employees as we continue to expand on our long-term growth strategy.

Among the 27 businesses closing is one located in North Coventry Township, Chester County, close to Pottstown, at 351 W. Schuylkill Road.
