Susquehanna Township’s P.J. Whelihan’s Pub & Restaurant is currently closed.

According to Vice President of Development Chris Webb, the restaurant at 3882 Union Deposit Road experienced an electrical fire on November 29. According to him, the fire was limited to a prep area in the kitchen.

According to Webb, the Dauphin Plaza restaurant will reopen over the weekend after being closed for a few days.

The news was communicated with guests via a message on P.J. Whelian’s Facebook page: Due to a minor electrical fire, we are presently closed. Within the following few days, we will reopen, and we’ll keep you updated here. We apologize for the trouble. I’m grateful.

After the incident, Webb commended the Susquehanna Township fire departments for their prompt action and support.

In October 2020, the eatery debuted at a former TGI Friday’s.
