According to authorities and the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office, a person’s body was found at a nearby cemetery Tuesday morning, prompting Swatara Township Police to look into their death as a potential homicide.
The DA’s office reported that the body was discovered hours after a confrontation between at least two people occurred somewhere on Monday night around the 2700 block of Paxton Street.
Just over a mile away, in the Paxtang Cemetery, investigators discovered a dead corpse and a car on Tuesday morning that they thought were related to the altercation.

Whether the body was discovered inside the car is unknown. A homicide investigation is underway into the event. The victim’s age and gender were not disclosed by the police.
On Tuesday morning, forensic and police personnel were spotted in the 2700 block of Paxton Street.
According to the DA’s office, as of Tuesday, no suspects had been named.
