According to NFL analyst Albert Breer, the Pittsburgh Steelers would love to re-sign Justin Fields to a new contract this offseason. Fields may return because of the organization’s growing dissatisfaction with Russell Wilson, according to Breer, though he is not sure if that role would be as a starter.

Fields may not be a starter, but the team would still like to continue working with him. Fields stated only last week that he would want to rejoin the Steelers because he enjoys the organization and is fed up with having to learn new playbooks every season. That might entice him to come back, particularly because he wants to keep growing and realize some of his potential.
