Josh Carney of Steelers Depot claims that the Pittsburgh Steelers are particularly interested in Kansas cornerback Cobee Bryant.Bryant told Joe Clark of Steelers Depot that he had been interviewed by the Steelers a lot during the Shrine Bowl.
Bryant can play both indoors and outdoors, despite being on the lighter side at 6′ 1″ and 171 pounds. Bryant, who has come through the ranks fast and is anticipated to be selected in the second round of the draft, is known for playing with a physical attitude and having a chip on his shoulder.
Bryant went on to say that since he is a Dawg and the Steelers want Dawgs, he believes the fit is quite obvious.
They adore dawgs. They want dawgs in their program, which is why they are bringing them in. So, Bryant told Clark, “I’m a dawg.”
Bryant, a native of Evergreen, Alabama, joined Kansas in 2021. As a true freshman, he started straight away, recording seven starts, 22 tackles, and two interceptions.
The Steelers adore Bryant’s ball-hawking abilities, as seen by his 13 career interceptions and more over 40 starts by the end of his senior season.
