Pittsburgh –George Pickens, a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is almost ready to make a comeback against the Kansas City Chiefs. For the first time since his injury, Pickens took part in individual drills, which is encouraging for the Steelers even if it is not a guarantee that he will play.
After practice, Pickens stated that he felt fine but that he would need to get the go-ahead from the trainers to play. He will be at the same time as everyone else when he learns that he will be playing.
“I feel well, but the coaches and doctors are the ones who make the final decision. So I’m simply doing anything they tell me to do. The time is whenever you guys find out. I’ll inquire,” Pickens remarked.
Pickens went on to say that his first injury happened on Friday following the team’s Thursday practice before to their matchup with the Cleveland Browns. After suffering the injury on Thursday, he woke up with hamstring pain, and an MRI revealed a grade 2 strain.
He would probably play if given a full week, but it is more difficult on a short week. He has missed the last three games. Nevertheless, Pickens appears to be ahead of the curve and has a genuine chance to play against the Chiefs.
