On Friday’s injury report, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens was designated as a limited participant due to a hamstring ailment. Pickens’ availability for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns is uncertain.

This follows Pickens’ remarks regarding the Browns, in which he claimed he had no idea who Browns CB Greg Newsome was during a brawl at the conclusion of the Steelers’ Thursday Night Football loss to the Browns.

The Steelers will assess Pickens over the weekend to see how he recovers from his hamstring injury before determining whether he will play. Although the injury is not seen as significant, Pickens’ status is called into question due to how soon it occurred.

According to sources who spoke to PennLive, Pickens sustained the injury near the conclusion of the team’s Thursday practice.

The Steelers have also ruled out defensive tackle Montravius Adams, who is still recovering from a torn meniscus sustained against the New York Jets back in March, in addition to Pickens’ uncertain condition.
