On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers added former Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Domenique Davis to their list of reserve and future additions.
After being cut by the Bengals, Davis spent some time on the practice squad with the Steelers this season. After being waived by Pittsburgh, Davis returned to Cincinnati and even appeared on the Bengals’ active roster against the Steelers in Week 18.
In addition to playing for the New York Jets, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in the 2020 NFL Draft, Davis initially joined the Bengals in 2022.
During his time at UNC Pembroke, Davis excelled and garnered enough recognition to gain access to an NFL training camp. Davis, who is 6′ 2″ and 326 pounds, can play both up and down the defensive line. The only statistic he has recorded in his four years in the NFL is three total tackles.
