Pittsburgh –When questioned about the Steelers’ upcoming schedule, which includes games against three of the NFL’s best teams in the next 11 days, Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott is direct in his remarks. Elliott criticized the NFL.
There are no justifications for that game, but Elliott believes the NFL may dislike the Steelers due to scheduling and the way he perceives some of the calls going against them.
We now know. For the past few weeks, we have been aware of it. “But shoot,” Elliott continued, “we have to line up and play.” It will only demonstrate our potential. Obviously, no excuses. I feel like the league already despises us because of the flags and penalties that occurred today, dude. It’s okay, then. We will go out here, play those games, put in a lot of effort, and hopefully end up with a 3-0 record.
After playing the Browns, Elliott had one of his best performances ever. Nine of his 13 tackles were solo, and seven of those tackles went short of the sticks. After being signed by the Miami Dolphins this offseason, Elliott continues to make an impression despite giving up a late touchdown to Browns tight end David Njoku. He was everywhere against Cleveland.
After playing the Philadelphia Eagles the next week, the Steelers will travel to Baltimore to play the Ravens before playing the Kansas City Chiefs at home on Christmas.
