BALTIMORE –Five players were sidelined by the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday. Due to a strained hamstring, wide receiver George Pickens is the most inactive player on the roster. Despite doing some side work, he didn’t practice over the week.
Due to the injury, Pickens is missing his third consecutive game. Scotty Miller and Mike Williams will be the next to step up for Pittsburgh. Due to a hamstring issue, star safety DeShon Elliott is now sidelined. Elliott will be replaced in part by Damontae Kazee and Cam Sutton.
Due to a groin injury, Larry Ogunjobi is no longer active. Dean Lowry is playing in his place and ought to get a lot of reps. Keeanu Benton would have been the nose tackle, and Ogunjobi would have started across from Cam Heyward. Lowry will probably take his place instead.
Due to a back issue, cornerback Donte Jackson is not playing. He was struggling to play this week due to a pinched nerve in his lower back, but he was only able to practice one day. In addition to Cory Trice, James Pierre will start in his stead.
Due to an abdominal injury he suffered against the Philadelphia Eagles, quarterback Justin Fields is not playing. Russell Wilson will be supported by Kyle Allen.
