Curry was the Seattle Seahawks’ assistant outside linebackers coach before joining the Steelers two years ago. He assisted in the development of many players there, and under Curry, youngster Payton Wilson showed promise with the Steelers.
This is the first open search and coaching staff change the Steelers have experienced this summer. More turnover is anticipated, although it is not anticipated that the Steelers’ contract coaches will be let go.
