Cooper Kupp, the outstanding wide receiver, was told by the Los Angeles Rams that he would be traded to another team because they were taking a new approach. Kupp is now formally on the trade block after reports circulated that he will be transferred at the trade deadline. The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the teams who might be interested and one that makes sense.

I was told that the team will look for a trade right away and will work with my family to locate a suitable location for us to continue winning titles. I always thought it would start and finish in Los Angeles, and I disagree with the choice. However, if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that there are a lot of circumstances beyond your control, but how you handle these things is what you’ll remember when you look back on them,” Kupp wrote on X.
The team may be able to acquire Kupp for the contract price with just one day two or day three pick. Having a top wide receiver coupled with George Pickens would enable them to concentrate on other positions.
Kupp is an excellent blocker but primarily plays in the slot. However, Kupp has had injuries throughout his career, which is becoming a major problem as he begins to slow down as he ages. The Steelers have the space to accept Kupp’s contract, so they should still be involved.
