Christian Kirk, a wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars, may be a target for the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason. Before breaking his collarbone in the middle of the season, Kirk, who could be cut by the Jaguars, was on the verge of being moved to the Steelers. That put a stop to the trade talks, forcing the Steelers to turn their attention to Mike Williams.

But given the present situation in the team’s wide receiver group, Kirk makes a lot of sense and would fit right in with George Pickens. Kirk is young enough to contribute to the team’s future, and he wouldn’t cost the Steelers so much that they couldn’t extend Pickens or make another splash in free agency.

Kirk has accumulated more than 5000 receiving yards and 29 receiving touchdowns during his time with the Arizona Cardinals and Jaguars. He mostly played in the slot in Jacksonville, but the Steelers may use him both indoors and out to improve their room.
