Jackson worsened his injury during practice on Wednesday, thus the organization chose to keep him out of Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cory Trice would start for the second time in a row if Jackson is unable to play. In his debut start, Trice guarded Ja Marr Chase, but he let up a touchdown. The Steelers played man coverage in several of those situations, leaving Trice all by himself.
