Pittsburgh –Against the Cleveland Browns, cornerback Donte Jackson of the Pittsburgh Steelers had a back injury. Jackson collapsed in agony during the third quarter, and trainers assisted him in leaving the field. Although trainers kept him in and out for the remainder of the game, he seemed upbeat the entire time.
As soon as Jackson was hurt, he entered the blue medical tent. He joined his comrades in celebrating. To help Jackson manage the pain for the remainder of the game, the trainers used a heating pad.
Late in the game, James Pierre took Jackson’s spot. He would later make a sliding interception against Jameis Winston, who threw away a seam shot. Due to injuries in the room, particularly Cory Trice’s, Pierre is the team’s best outside backup cornerback. Pierre was able to make the play since Trice was not playing during the game.
