The Class 2A Team Wrestling Championships’ opening round matchups, locations, and times have been announced by the PIAA.

On Tuesday, preliminary pigtails and first-round matches will take place at a local regional location or the home field of a District winner.

The Altoona Area High School Field House will host the quarterfinals starting at 5 p.m. on Friday.

The semifinals will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday after Altoona hosts the consolation rounds at 9 a.m.

The championship and third-place bouts are set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, while a second round of consolation wrestling will start at 12:30 p.m.

Montgomery (18-1) vs. Berks Catholic (19-1) 3-2 at Bethlehem Freedom High School, 5 p.m.

Bishop McCort High School, 10-2 Corry (18-2) vs. 7-3 McGuffey (13-5), 5 p.m.

Faith Christian Academy (10-1) vs. Conwell-Egan/Northwestern Lehigh winner, 1-1, Boyertown High School, 7 p.m.

7-1 Burrell (14-1) vs. Penns Valley/Quaker Valley victor at 7 p.m. at Burrell High School.
