YORK This year, Ben Rill thinks his team is speedier. The boys’ basketball team from Central York gave it their all during Saturday’s practice versus Imhotep Charteron.
The Panthers’ 6-foot-8 big Rill and 6-foot-3 backcourt player Ben Natal Jr. are the center of attention after the team’s PIAA Class 6A title finish last year raised eyebrows. In March of last year, Central York defeated Parkland 53-51 at the Giant Center to become the first public school in York County to win a state basketball championship.
