On Saturday, Penn State will play Oregon in the Big Ten championship, making their first conference title game appearance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis since 2016.

When the Nittany Lions defeated Wisconsin 38-31 to complete an incredible run through the Big Ten, Saquon Barkley, Trace McSorley, and the team all wore their home blue uniforms.

However, when they play Oregon, Nick Singleton, Drew Allar, and company won’t be wearing the same uniform.

The Nittany Lions, placed third, are the designated road team for the Big Ten championship because they are the lower seed. They’ll be dressed in their classic white road uniforms.

In contrast, Oregon will wear all-black clothing, including pants, and each player’s jersey will have a silver number in the center. UO green helmets will be worn by the Ducks.

This is the fourth meeting between Penn State and Oregon in the history of respective programs. The Nittany Lions have a 3-1 record overall. Since the Rose Bowl in 1995, they have not met.

Official kickoff for Penn State vs. Oregon is set at 8:17 p.m. Saturday. CBS will broadcast the game.
