Fans may already begin making travel plans to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis as Penn State advances to the Big Ten Championship game against Oregon next weekend, thanks to an unlikely victory by Michigan over No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday.

Soon after a 44-7 victory over Maryland, Penn State emailed season ticket holders and students with ticket information. On social media, the athletic department also announced that general ticket sales will begin on Saturday evening.

Students can request tickets until Monday at 5 p.m. EST, after which their names will be entered into a lottery drawing. The lottery’s results will be sent by email in the next week. Up to two tickets, each costing $50, are available for students to request. Penn State will give you a complete refund if you are not chosen for a ticket.

Additionally, Penn State advised students to ask for the two-ticket maximum in order to guarantee a spot with a companion. The email stated that no further requests for seat assignments would be fulfilled.

Printed tickets will not be provided; instead, they will be sent via mobile delivery.

After defeating Maryland, Penn State is 11-1 and will play the championship game against unbeaten No. 1 Oregon at 8 p.m. CBS will broadcast the game.
