MiamiWith the exception of a few curse words, the Penn State locker room was quiet after the loss. Less than an hour had passed since the Nittany Lions’ College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Notre Dame. Hugs were exchanged. Tears were shed.

Andy Kotelnicki, the offensive coordinator for Penn State, stood off to the side. Before one of his best players approached and gave him an embrace, he was enjoying some alone time.
