Having analysts on staff was already a top focus for Penn State and James Franklin, but starting last summer, those analysts have been permitted to coach on the field due to a change in NCAA regulations.
Shane Eachus and Brent Zdebski are the two names that the Nittany Lions have formally identified as analysts to assist new defensive coordinator Jim Knowlesas as of Wednesday. Both have prior connections to Knowles and are included in Penn State’s official personnel directory.
