SUNBURY The owners claim that the sale of the Northumberland County fur farm, from which almost 700 minks were liberated in October, is a planned succession plan.

According to a spokesman for the Richard H. Stahl & Sons Fur Farm’s owners, the listing of the 56.3-acre property at Route 890, a mile southeast of Sunbury, is a component of a succession plan that started more than two and a half years ago, long before any animal rights demonstrators got involved.
