According to research done and released by OnDeck, Pike County is the Keystone State’s leader in small company expansion. According to Census data, these firms increased by 5.23 percent in the area over a one-year period.
Overall, Pennsylvania’s small company growth was 1.27 percent year over year. Idaho recorded a 6.55 percent gain, making it the state with the most growth.
This came after small business employment increased by 48.7 percent over a quarter-century growth trend. exceeding the U.S. Small Business Administration’s national rate, the report states.
The eighth-lowest labor costs are found in Idaho. Although there is enough job rivalry for Idaho’s small companies to escape the recruitment nightmares other regions have had in recent years, the state benefits from a moderate employment market where people have money to spend.
West Virginia, on the opposite end of the scale, experienced a growth in the sector of about 0%.
