The Pa. Christmas + Gift Show has been bringing holiday celebrations to central Pennsylvania for more than 40 years. It’ll be back in a few weeks. The festival, which is celebrating 41 years, will have plenty of cuisine, speciality vendors, and guest appearances.

The performance will take place at Harrisburg’s Farm Show Complex from December 4–8. Here are some things to expect from this year’s event.

Girls’ Night Out: December 6, 4–7 p.m.

Discounted specialty cocktails, $5 entrance, do-it-yourself classes, games, music, and door prizes are all available to women.

Deck the Paws: December 7, 10 a.m.

Adoptable canines from Canine Rescue of Central Pennsylvania participated in a dog fashion show, all decked out in holiday attire.

Country Christmas Night, December 7, 4–7 p.m.

Discounted admission ($5) is available to guests, along with boot-scooting country line dancing for all ages and skill levels, taught by Dancin with Brittanie, and country-themed prizes, such as a personalized, flat-brimmed adorned hat by up-and-coming country artist Lainey Wilson, provided by Forever Spring Farm.

Friends & Family Day, December 8, 1–5 p.m.

Kids may enjoy free face painting and puzzles, stories with Santa (1:30 pm), and live music and dance groups on the entertainment stage. After 1 pm, friends and families can obtain two tickets for the price of one.

In addition to a variety of special events, guests can take advantage of free Santa pictures in Santaland, see the Lego Christmas village, and eat at the dinner banquet buffet. Visitors might also get to meet Karolyn Grimes, who portrayed Zuzu in the iconic 1946 movie It’s A Wonderful Life.

Here’s what you should know if you intend to go:

Location of the Event: Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, 2300 N. Cameron St.

Hours: December 4–7, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.; December 8–10 a.m.–5 p.m.

The price for adults is $10. Seniors pay $8. Children under the age of eleven enter free of charge. You can purchase tickets at the box office or online.

Groups of 20 or more can purchase individual tickets for $8 apiece. The only way to purchase discounted entry ($5) is at the box office.

Before leaving, you can purchase $5 second-day tickets at the box office.

Parking: Visitors must use a credit card to pay for all parking and concessions, which are cashless.
