More than 2,500 jars of the Coconut Vanilla variety of First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream are being recalled, the Newton, Massachusetts-based company just reported.

Because the product was not meant for commercial sale, the company is recalling 2,756 jars of the cream that were only available on its website, according to a press release.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, the recall was caused by a deviation from current good manufacturing practices, which means that the produce was not made in accordance with the procedure and does not necessarily indicate that there is a problem with it.

We voluntarily recalled a particular version of our Coconut Vanilla Ultra Repair Cream that was marketed only on FirstAidBeauty.com, a First Aid Beauty representative told Today.com. This was one such variation. There is no effect on any other First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Creams.

On Dec. 23, the recall was started. Customers who purchased the product received proactive emails offering a replacement Ultra Repair Cream Grapefruit.

The jars bear the UPC code 8 15517 02955 6 and are available in 14-ounce quantities. Either lot code 24D44, which expires on April 10, 2026, or lot code 24D45, which expires on April 11, 2026, are available.

This cream should be stopped and thrown away by anyone using it. You don’t need to do anything more if you didn’t receive an email from First Aid Beauty.

According to WGRZ, First Aid Beauty’s products have gained popularity on social media, particularly TikTok, where people give them high marks.
