As we approach the first-quarter pole, the first-round picked quarterbacks are looking the part after a few sluggish starts in the first two weeks. After four weeks, all three of the opening-day starters have won at least two games, putting their clubs in the running for a postseason berth.

In addition to being the top player in the (rookie) class, the 2024 No. 2 overall pick might be Lamar Jackson 2.0.
According to NBC Sports, Daniels is dominating the NFL and has the highest four-week completion % of any quarterback in NFL history to start the season. When you consider that Daniels has only finished his fourth NFL game, it is really astounding what he has done to start a season. No one else has ever done it before, including Tom Brady, Joe Montana, and Aaron Rodgers.

When you take into account Daniel’s incredible accuracy over the course of four weeks, his supremacy becomes even more astounding. In his NFL career, Daniels has only thrown 18 incompletions—actually 19, but one was intercepted—the same number that Aaron Rodgers had during the Jets’ 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Surprisingly, Daniels and the Commanders are 3-1 and lead the NFC East, surpassing the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. If they defeat the Cleveland Browns at home on Sunday, they will move up to 4-1. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Jayden Daniels and the Commanders are currently -162 Moneyline favorites.

Why he s ranked where he is
Williams’ four-week stat line and his effective play while winning several games would normally be sufficient to earn the #1 spot on the rookie power rankings. However, Williams is only resigned to second place because of Daniels’ disastrous start.
Williams has been productive over the last three weeks and helped Chicago defeat the struggling Los Angeles Rams 24–18 to increase their record to 2-2. It will put an end to many of the what’s wrong with Caleb Williams essays that were written when the Bears started 1-2. His 73.9 completion percentage in that victory was his best in a single game this season.

Williams has thrown for 520 yards in the last two games and did not turn the ball over for the first time in his NFL career, but the explosiveness and creativity are still lacking. Despite a rough two weeks, Nix and the Broncos have won back-to-back games and are once again in the running for the AFC playoffs. In Sunday’s 10-9 victory at rain-soaked MetLife Stadium, Nix tossed his first NFL touchdown and led Denver down the field for the game-winning field goal, but he missed more throws than he completed.

With two games against 2023 playoff teams—the Jets and Steelers, in particular—and three away games, Nix and the Broncos have had a difficult road to start.
However, Nix and the Broncos will now play two home games in a row. When the Broncos host the Raiders in Week 5, they will attempt to continue their winning run. Vibet365 Sportsbook presently has the Broncos as 2-point favorites versus the Raiders.
4. Drake Maye, New England Patriots

Why he s ranked where he is
It will not be long before Maye is tossed into the fire. Although he did not play in New England’s lopsided defeat to the San Francisco 49ers (30–13), he did a good job mopping up during the team’s Week 3 loss to the New York Jets.
Jacoby Brissett’s tenure as a starter for New England is obviously coming to an end, and he is obviously a stopgap for the No. 3 overall pick in 2024. After three weeks of being 30th in the NFL in passing yards, he tossed a pick against the Niners on Sunday and recorded a 59.4 completion percentage.

Since the Miami Dolphins will visit Foxborough on Sunday before the Pats play the Houston Texans, who are now atop the AFC South, it will only become more difficult to stop the rumors that Maye will play. Given the current situation, Maye might start the Week 6 home game against C.J. Stroud and company. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Maye and the Patriots are currently +100 moneyline underdogs versus Miami.

Why he s ranked where he is
After Kirk Cousins and the Falcons narrowly defeated the NFC South rival New Orleans Saints 26–24 on Sunday, Penix will have to wait no longer. After their significant victory, Atlanta is now 2-2 and one game behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With a 4-4 touchdown-to-interception rate and a 64.7 completion percentage over the first four weeks, Cousins has lit up the NFL. On the depth chart, he is still far superior to the eighth overall pick, and until he gets injured, he appears to be Atlanta’s sure starter.
