The weekly bulletin from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency states that the branch located at 1685 W. State St. would be closing.
Potter Township

140 employees will be let go as the expandable polystyrene maker closes its 400 Frankfort Road location. In January, the business anticipates stopping all production at the site. The layoffs are scheduled to start on January 3. In order to finish the tasks required to permanently idle the factory by early 2026, layoffs will continue to occur.

Midwest Transport, Inc.
One of the biggest transportation contractors connected to the USPS, the truckload carrier with its headquarters in Illinois, has shut down. On September 9, the terminal located at 2470 Evans City Road closed.

BBQ at Redd’s Smokehouse
On November 3, the restaurant at the Hampden Centre, located at 4890 Carlisle Pike, closed.
Mechanicsburg

The weekly statement from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency states that the tavern and restaurant located at 398 N. York St. has closed.

Harvest
In order to allow for a transition, Harvest at the Hotel Hershey declared that it would close on January 5 after brunch. Harvest’s website states that it will return in the spring of 2025 with a new dining and tavern experience.In 2009, Harvest opened. The 150-seat eatery promotes Genuine American Cuisine and is housed in a different structure from the hotel.
Lower Paxton Township
Fyre Bar & Lounge
The Colonial Park Mall’s eatery shut down. The location, which was formerly Buffalo Wild Wings, debuted last October. Its menu combined American, Indian, and Nepali cuisines.
Mystery Box Store
On its Facebook page, the Colonial Park Mall business stated that it anticipates closing on December 1.

Medical Resources in Berkley
The non-woven wiper plant located at 700 Mountain View Drive in Fayette Business Park is closing. Manufacturing will stop on November 27 and warehousing and distribution will conclude on December 31. The plant will close by then.

270 employees of the glassware and dishware manufacturer Corelle Brands, formerly known as Instant Brands, will be let go as the company closes its 100 Eighth St. location. The layoffs will occur from December 9 to February 17.

John’s Diner
On November 6, the diner located at 146 Sheraton Drive off of Interstate 83 closed. The restaurant’s contract expires in late December, according to a post on its Facebook page.
