Cumberland County police are searching for a man who they believe stole water heaters and parts valued at almost $7,000 from a business in Lower Allen Township last month using a false purchase order.

On November 19, at around 9 a.m., officers were dispatched to R.F. Fager, Inc., which is situated at 2058 State Road, following a theft report from the assistant manager.

According to a police complaint, the manager stated that a guy entered the establishment at approximately 2:42 p.m. on November 13 after making an order for pickup.

After receiving water heaters and parts worth almost $7,000, the man drove off in a GMC pickup truck. Nevertheless, the order was fraudulently placed using a different company’s account, which did not approve the purchase.

According to the police, the man placed the order fraudulently using the account of another business and took the things before anyone noticed.
