After a gunshot at a Sheetz in East Manchester Township, York County, on Christmas Eve, a man was killed.

According to Tim Damon, chief of the York County Regional Police Department, officers were called at 5:12 p.m. to a reported shooting outside the convenience store on North George Street Extension.

According to Damon, police found a man in his early 20s who had been shot at least once and was not going to be saved no matter how hard they tried to revive him.

Damon stated that investigators think the victim was the target of numerous attackers, but he did not explain how police arrived at this conclusion or how the victim might have been related to the gunman or shooters.

As far as we know, the suspects are not committing crimes at random, Damon stated.

As of yet, no one has been arrested.

Damon stated that although detectives are now working with several witnesses, police believe the victim was at the Sheetz alone.
