In 2025, certain Verizon customers will have to pay a bit more.
Customers with five or more lines and those utilizing the now-defunct New Verizon Plan options would be the ones affected, according to CNET.
According to the website, the increases are scheduled for February.
The good news is that most Verizon customers won’t likely be affected by this, and overall, the increase isn’t really significant. Small rate increases, however, might build up over time for those attempting to keep rates low.
Customers with five or more lines in their myPlan accounts would experience a fee rise of $3 per line per month, according to CNET. Customers who are still on the now-defunct New Verizon Plan would experience a $4 per line fee rise, according to the report. According to the report, customers with multiple phone line accounts will pay $15 more a month, while data overage rates will go from $15 per gigabyte to $20.
Additionally, according to CNET, last month Verizon raised its Administrative and Telco Recovery Charge by 20 cents per line.
