The Scorpions’ drummer, Mikkey Dee, is still recuperating from a recent health scare, so fans who are hoping to travel to Las Vegas in February to see the band perform will have to wait.

On X, the band made the announcement on Friday.

The statement stated, “We regret to notify you that we have decided to postpone our Coming Home to Las Vegas residency to August 2025 due to Mikkey Dee’s ongoing recovery from his recent hospitalization.”Our brother’s health and welfare are our top priorities.

The statement was made only a week after Dee blasted rumors that he was leaving the band on Instagram.

I will not be leaving Scotland! He penned it.I’ve returned home and am making good progress in my sepsis recovery! Ignore these jerks who fabricate stories. Don’t believe a word if it’s not on my official pages! Mikkey!

Dee, the former drummer for the iconic band Motorhead, recently told fans that he almost died in a hospital in December after battling sepsis.

In early December, he sprained his foot and was experiencing slight fever and inflammation, he told the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet. But according to Dee, his ankle swelled up like crazy right before Christmas, and it suddenly took on an odd form and appearance, resembling an overcooked ham.

I had to take an ambulance to Sahlgrenska because I was so sick, and when they saw that my values were really high, they gave me priority there, he continued.

According to Dee, he ultimately had three procedures.

According to him, they removed anything that was dead, sick, and severely contaminated. My journey wasn’t going well. In heaven, I would be playing drums alongside Lemmy, the late frontman of Motorhead. That’s what I can say.
