With today’s game, Winnipeg (18-6, in the Central Division) will wrap up a six-game road trip. The Jets lost 4-3 at Vegas on Friday night, making them 3-2 on the trip.

The game-winning goal for Vegas came late in the third period from Brett Howden, who scored his second goal of the game.

Seven minutes after the Jets had tied the score, Howden’s goal with 4:05 left broke a 3-all tie.

Adin Hill made 22 saves and Ivan Barbashev scored two goals as Vegas triumphed for the fourth time in five games.

Winnipeg lost for the third time in four games, with goals from Cole Perfetti and Neal Pionk. 26 saves were made by Eric Comrie.

For the Jets, Kyle Connor has 13 goals and 16 assists. In the last ten games, Mark Scheifele has five goals and three assists.

The Jets have started Connor Hellebuyck in goal most of the time. He has a stellar goals-against average of 2.11 and a 15-3-0-0 record.
