On Monday night, the Warriors lost badly to the Boston Celtics (125-85) at home, dropping them back to the.500 level. Prior to that game, Golden State had won consecutive games, but according to ESPN, they suffered their most lopsided loss in 40 years after shooting just 34.8% from the field and making 14 of their 53 3-point tries. Steph Curry, who scored 18 points on 6 of 16 shooting while his four teammates made seven of their 25 shots, was the only Warriors starter to reach double digits.
With nine victories in their last ten games, including back-to-back victories against the Washington Wizards (123-100) and Houston Rockets (132-127) in their last two games, the Kings are dominating the halfway point of the season. Over that time, Sacramento’s offense has been blazing, scoring more than 110 points in 12 consecutive games and ranking seventh in the NBA in terms of scoring (116.7 points per game).
