With 40 points from James Harden, the Clippers defeated Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (127-117) on Saturday night to cap up a six-game home stand in style. With their sixth straight win, LA moved up into a crucial position in the top six of the Western Conference standings, just two games behind Denver in the top four.
With consecutive victories over Brooklyn (108-84) and Washington (119-109), as well as a 7-2 record in their last nine games, the Suns are also gaining ground. Before going on the road for four games in a row, Phoenix will play two of the greatest teams in the Western Conference at home: the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday and the Clippers at Footprint Center on Monday.
